Fathers Day

For Father's day we went to mass and to brunch with the Moragas. For the rest of the day we lounged and went to the pool to celebrate the beautiful weather!

So many new firsts!

This week was full of new firsts for Lucy: First trip to Disneyland, first trip to Silky Sullivan's, first trip to the beach, all very fun! Disneyland was short-lived because Lucy went into sensory overload and had a minor meltdown. Silky's was great. The beach was also short-lived because the beach ended up being much colder and overcast than it was at home! Altogether though, we had a great week. Also another update: Lucy is now 12lbs 15oz (if you include a diaper and onsie!)

First trip to the pool!

Today we made our first trip to the pool! Lucy was a little unsure of the water at first (probably because it was cold!) but she rallied well and enjoyed it a little before falling asleep. We had a great time! Lucy didn't even mind being lathered in sunscreen. Today was also the first day she wore a hat! I think she will be a little water baby by the end of the summer!

Six week update

So Lucy is now 6 weeks old, believe it or not! We went to the pediatrician today because Lucy woke up with her eye swollen almost shut. Its only a blocked year duct, nothing major which we figured but since she is so young the doctor wanted to see her. The good news is she got an official weight again!!! She is now 12lbs 0.5oz! Growing fast and starting to play a little! Still not sleeping all that well night but oh well.
