October 2009

What a busy month! Lucy turned 6 months old... She is trying solid foods. The jury is still out on whether or not she likes them yet! Grandma and Grandpa Moraga came to visit. And mommy, daddy and Lucy went to Disneyland and the Pumpkin Patch!!! All sorts of fun stuff! Lucy is still is awe of the camera and just stares at it when she sees it so we are still working on "smiling for the camera." It is one thing she hasn't figured out yet.

5 months old!

Lucy will be 5 months old tomorrow!!!!!! She can sit up on her own for quite a while now and can lean forward to pick something up and manage to get herself back to sitting!! She can roll over but doesn't choose to do so very often. She has such her own little personality. We went to Disneyland again and she was only slightly overwhelmed by Small World. The boat might have been more interesting to her!

Labor Day Cookout!!!

We had a small cookout for labor day and Lucy had a great time in the pool. She is now 4 months old. She officially weighs in at 16 lbs 15 oz and is 26 inches long. She can roll over from her front to her back and she loves to laugh and flirt with anyone she sees. At the pool party she "played" with Kiera in the pool!

Lucy likes to eat the Dragonfly on her exersaucer. It is nice and flat and hard for a teething baby!



The paper on this present was more interesting to Lucy. The dress inside from Aunt Connie was adorable!!!!

August 2009

August has brought all sorts of new and exciting things for Lucy. She got to swim in great grandma's pool (although she was not a fan of the life jacket we tried to put her in.) She finally smiled for the camera! And she got a new ExerSaucer play aparatus. She loves it! She tries to wiggle out of the bouncy seat so we had to find something that would contain her!
